Overview
Outdoor pizza ovens range from countertop units to fully built-in masonry-style ovens with stone or stucco surrounds. Beyond pizza, they’re great for bread, roasted vegetables and slow-cooked dishes.
Built-in ovens are heavy and generate intense heat, so the base, insulation, clearances, chimney and flue all need to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local requirements. We plan ovens alongside outdoor kitchens and BBQ islands so the whole cooking space works together.

Planning & installation
Weight and base. Built-in ovens can be very heavy and need a solid, properly designed base.
Clearances and chimneys. Follow manufacturer clearance and flue requirements, especially under covered structures.
Local rules. Wood-burning appliances can be subject to air quality and fire regulations in some areas and on certain days. Check current rules before choosing wood-fired.
Gas. Gas ovens require connections by a licensed professional and typically a permit.
Cost factors. Oven type and size, base and surround construction, chimney, fuel and finishes.

FAQ
Still have questions? Call (747) 344-7727.
Wood-fired ovens offer traditional flavor and atmosphere; gas ovens heat faster and are easier to control. Some models support both.
Only if the oven, chimney and clearances meet the manufacturer’s requirements and local codes. Many installations place ovens at the edge of covered areas.
Some areas have air quality rules that can restrict wood burning on certain days. We recommend checking current regional rules.
Built-in ovens need a solid base designed for their weight; countertop ovens need a suitable, heat-safe counter.
