Manufacturer specifications. Cut-out dimensions, clearances, jacket requirements and ventilation are specific to each grill. We follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
Fuel type. Grills are built for natural gas or propane; conversions must be done correctly with the right parts.
Gas, electrical and plumbing. Grills, side burners, refrigerators, lighting and sinks need utilities. Gas lines, new electrical circuits and plumbing must be installed by appropriately licensed professionals and typically require permits. We’ll explain what your design needs and how that work will be handled before anything is built.
Cost factors. Grill model and components, island modifications, jackets and vents, utility connections and finishing.
Permits. Outdoor kitchens with gas, electrical or plumbing connections generally require permits, and covered structures may too. Requirements vary between the City of Los Angeles, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and other jurisdictions.
